Our New Location

Tie ‘n’ Fly Outfitters has now established itself in Marcoola on the Corner of Rex Terrace and Glen Court.  We have managed to increase our stock holding by 33%.  The space we have created is awesome, although I do struggle to keep Gavin’s fly tying antics to one corner of the shop!  Come and see us, we have a great range of clothing, rods, reels, lines, tying materials, vices and flies. We have even ventured into our own merchandise with a Tee Shirts.  Featuring a fly tied by Gavin.  We are increasing the colour range and sizes on each order.

Gavin is still tying for the shop and for clients orders, we have way over 1,000 flies in stock which he has tied, both saltwater flies and fresh water flies.

Fly Fishing Schools

Don’t forget Gavin is the only certified Casting Instructor on the Coast who is fully insured, licensed and permitted to conduct his fly schools to the public.  Ok so at $75 for a casting lesson he is more expensive than the guy on the corner, but you get what you pay for. Gavin conducts schools for individual and groups.  Just let us know what you would like to do and I can either get you booked in or sort out a voucher as a gift.

We are still working on getting all our products onto our website, so bear with us, if you cannot find what you need on our online store contact us. We really do have heaps more in the physical shop. And probably will never get everything online as there is so much tying material on these walls.

Guiding

Gavin and his clients had great fun on the Tuna this year.  Some great fish hooked and landed including late season monster.  For one person it was their first time Saltwater Fly Fishing and he landed  a trophy fish.

Gavin has  booked out his Hervey Bay season this year, early November to early December, which is great news.  I have started to take bookings for his Summer and Autumn season here on The Sunshine Coast. Let me know if you want to book a date with Gavin.
