began his career as a commercial fisherman in the waters off the
Sunshine Coast over 25 years ago and has been fly fishing them for more than 15 years. He enjoys sharing this wealth of knowledge and

The yearly migration of tuna off the Queensland Coast starts at Christmas time and runs through to mid-May. Gavin's schedule is fully booked from now until mid-December 2010. We are taking bookings for over Christmas time when the Mack Tuna start to show in numbers.
Peak season is mid-March to mid-May when the Longtail Tuna are at their best. With his on-going commitments in Nonouti Island, bookings this season will be extremely limited.
