NEW FLY PATTERN IN THE BOXFlashy CharlieThis pattern is a variation of the Crazy Charlie which is an imitation shrimp or small crab pattern originally tied for bonefish. The original Crazy Charlie pattern is one of the most imitated and adapted saltwater fly patterns.
The Flashy Charlie is very productive in both our saltwater and tropical freshwater fisheries.

The whole top end is receiving a huge flush out with all this rain that they are having. It is apparently the biggest flood for over 30 years. All the nutrients from the land get washed into the warm waters of the gulf, which gets the prawns hatching and the whole eco-system firing! Could be the biggest year we have had for barramundi yet!

This course is designed with the beginner in mind and is a must for anyone starting out in the sport. Many people comment that it is best to complete this course before purchasing any equipment. This way they can determine if they like fly fishing before outlaying money on gear.
